| Second-look
Weekend 2009
Students
who receive offers of admission to Duke MSTP are invited
to campus to take a second look at Duke and the community.
Travel and lodging arrangements are the same as for the
interview visit. Second-look for 2009 is Thursday,
April 2, through Sunday, April 5. The MSTP
Symposium takes place Thursday afternoon and evening.
Friday and Saturday activities offer visitors a glimpse
of the intellectual climate and opportunities available
at Duke University School of Medicine and a taste of social
life at Duke and in Durham.

The
weekend is a good chance to see the campus and community
in more detail and to ask questions about Duke MSTP, the
medical school, and ongoing research in the basic science
departments. Applicants are welcome to interview with more
faculty members during this visit, taking the opportunity
to explore further the sorts of research being done at Duke.
Applicants interested in interviews should notify the MSTP
office (MSTP@duke.edu) of the particular faculty members
with whom they would like to meet.
The
weekend begins Thursday, April 2, 2009, at 1:00 pm and runs
through Sunday, April 5, at noon. Applicants should plan
to arrive on Thursday morning and depart in the afternoon
on either Saturday or Sunday.

School of Medicine schedule for 2009 Second-look Weekend
