Informal
social events
Many
informal social activities are planned by students throughout
the year. Past events have included:
- gatherings
to mark special occasions and happenings
- gathering
at Satisfactions to watch our Nobel-Laureate director
Peter Agre's debut on the Colbert
Report. (Peter offers to trade his Nobel medal for
... .)
- pizza
nights to boost morale or provide a study break
- watching
sports at a pizza spot
- dinner
at a faculty home
- spring
events to celebrate graduations
- whatever
...
Some
of these events are planned well ahead of time, and some
are last-minute responses to special happenings.
